MBR stands for Master Boot Record. MBR is a program which is accessed by the system at the time of starting. This program is mainly used to hold the primary partition table of the disk and also to boot the operating system. MBR program holds the information for the critical process of the booting such as how many partition are there, which is the active partition and so on. • Click on the option of Repair Your Computer.
• Choose the operating system that is to be repaired.
• Then click the next.
• Click on the command prompt from the System Recovery options dialog box.
• Input Bootrec.exe/fixmbr and press Enter. This command would fix the MBR issue.
